A little on the heavy side, but that's what Roctober does to me.

I started this song using my usual plugins, but I wanted to try out a new microphone I got from Roswell. After finishing the initial recording, I fired up the Morris amp and mic’d up my Mesa/Boogie 2x12 cabinet out in the hallway. I started rerecording the rhythm parts using the Morris and the Roswell mic.

Then, right in the middle of all this, a new guitar showed up: the PRS McCarty 594 Tremolo. Naturally, I unboxed it, plugged it in, and recorded the rhythm parts all over again!

The lead lines are all from my original performance on the Tom Anderson. I also used my PRS DGT on a few parts, especially some of those weird sounds you might hear lurking in the background.

 So, I was able to combine a bunch of new gear along with trying a different approach to my recording process.
