Albums and 8 Tracks

Albums and 8 Tracks

Strolling down memory lane here. Believe it or not, I still have most of my album and 8 track collection. What a great time to be around music. Just going to the local record store and roaming the isles for new music or checking out your favorite bands was one of the highlights of being a kid. And then you made that purchase and needed to get home ASAP to give it a listen. Yes, I said you would actually purchase music back then. Oh, how things have changed.

I have to blame my Mom for my love of music and the love of music stores. She would take me to this store called Sugarman's and give me a dollar to pick out a 45 record while she goes shopping. I remember having to meet her back at the front of the store at a certain time and rushing around to pick out the one song I wanted that day. I went from listening to her collection to creating my own.

Thanks Mom!

Here I will start taking some pictures of my record/8 track collection and share them with you. I wasn't into cassettes for some reason so I don't have that many to share but I will include whatever I got.

Let's see how this goes. Oh, press that like button if you dare.
